What you'll be doing
- _Assist other planners in the team on their projects, providing planning support and mentoring them_
- _Ensure proper integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction phases_
- _Produce integrated tender programmes and present proposals to settlement meeting_
- _Change management: review programme impact of changes and advise on EOT requirements_
- _Produce schedules as well as obtaining approvals from clients for both programmes and EoTs_
- _Accountability for the most complex, largest or several significant projects and manage all to a successful conclusion with mínimal supervision, this may involve supervising other Planners_
- _Setting up appropriate lean visual programme to assist the Project Team to timely deliver projects and improve productivity, performance and safety of projects_
- _Any other reasonable requests as required by Management_
- _It is expected that all of your behaviours and day to day activities will be underpinned by the blu-3 company core values_

What we're looking for

  • Post degree / relevant technical experience in major construction projects.
  • Operational experience (i.e. site engineer/agent) together with significant experience of planning services in medium to large projects in UK
  • Good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be able to own and present the "Plan" at all levels within the organisation structure
  • Demonstrable capability and proven skills in the use of planning products (e.g. Primavera Project Management, Microsoft Project, Asta), TiLoS, Synchro etc
  • Understand and has utilised Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Techniques, and "Extension of Time" analysis techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a large workload and prioritise tasks
  • Be selfmotivated and have a willingness to learn
