About Our Client:

A leading têxtiles manufacturer are now looking for
a Senior Technologist to join their team in the Middleton offices. The business is proud to supply some of the biggest names in retail. They have trading over 35 years an hold a number of awards for wellness & are Sedex accredit.

  • Provide technical support and assistance as needed to Sales, Merchandising, Warehousing and Purchasing.
  • Ensure professional, accurate and timely communication with internal and external customers to complete tasks and resolve issues.
  • Check and approving artworks for QA legal content.
  • Schedule audits and following up on NC'S for all sites (UK, Mac & China). Work with auditors to ensure company standards achieve Customer compliance.
  • Act as an internal auditor for the company to maintain Quality standards
  • Develop, implement, audit, and lead quality assurance and quality control processes within the business.
  • Follow the Plan-DoCheck-Act cycle to control continual improvement of production quality processes.
  • Monitor all quality efforts and maintain quality reports; advise management of quality concerns and opportunities to improve quality in production environment.
  • Oversee compliance with certification requirements based on standards outlined by multiple certification associations.

The Successful Applicant:

Currently a Product Technologist, QA Technologist or similar

Ideally experience working on têxtiles, soft lines etc

Experience with quality, inspections, auditing and corrective action plans preferred

Strong computer skills including MS word and excel

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Long term, project-oriented mindset

Efficient teamwork and communication
