Overview of the Front of House Assistant Role:


Pertemps is offering a great opportunity within Harrow Council for a proactive and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join their growing team.

This position provides a competitive pay rate of £13.46 per hour, with opportunities for increased pay based on Harrow Council's Pay Scale increments.

Additionally, benefits include up to 28 days' holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the chance to apply for permanent internal roles within Harrow Council.

The Main Responsibilities of a Front of House Assistant:

- Support the Duty Manager at events to ensure the highest standards of public safety and customer satisfaction.

- Assist in addressing any access needs for event attendees. - Aid the Duty Manager in promptly resolving client queries and requests while ensuring compliance with the Terms & Conditions. - Help with layout changes during events according to the event plan. - Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout events and ensure proper cleaning of the venue after events. - Collaborate with the Front of House Duty Manager to uphold health and safety standards in the performance space and Backstage Bar. - Assist in venue cleanup after clients and guests depart. - Aid in the safe evacuation of the venue in emergency situations.

Key Requirements for the Successful Front of House Assistant:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with diverse clientele.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in performance, conference, and function venues, as well as basic food hygiene principles. - Ability to safely lift and move loads, including bar stock and equipment. - Availability for shifts from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
