Substance Use and Recovery Case Worker

Falkirk, Falkirk, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Substance Use and Recovery Caseworker initially based within NHS Forth Valley prisons, to work within the Substance Use and Recovery Team (SRT) who can demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality services to vulnerable offenders.

As such you will bring a range of experience, delivering therapeutic interventions across Forth Valley Prisons in line with the expectations of the Scottish Government National Quality Principles framework and recovery orientated systems of care (ROSC) treatment model for prisoners with problem drug and alcohol problems.

You will need to be forward thinking, flexible and creative and will work in partnership with the SPS and other agencies to continually develop and deliver a service that reflects the needs of offenders whilst in custody.

The details of the role are contained within the Job Description & Person Specification document, however, we aim to work within a strengths-based, recovery-orientated and outcomes focused approach.
