Trainee Photographer - Edinburgh

John Clark are recruiting for a Trainee Photographer, with real creative spark. You will be required to take photos which will "wow" our customers online.

The Trainee Photographer role is responsible for:
The success of the John Clark Group digital presence in terms of:

  • Relevant and up to date used car photographs.
  • Online presence of the Group new and used car stocks.
  • New and used car video production.

Responsibilities as Trainee Photographer:

  • Ensure all vehicle photos are presented in a professional manner and as per the JCMG Image Guidelines. [minimum of 20 images per vehicle]
  • Ensure dealer used car image ratios are 90% or above.
  • Video production for the Group website and social media channels.
  • Assist Digital Manager with digital marketing activities during busy periods.
  • Optimise and enhance vehicle images to improve digital presentation.
  • Utilise company software systems to identify cars missing imagery and prepare vehicles for photography.
  • Ensure images are displayed online within 24 hours.
  • Regular social media posts to promote stock and offers.
  • Travel between dealerships is required and will be planned by the Digital Manager.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable when taking photographs and video.

Requirements for Trainee Photographer:

  • Driving licence
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of automotive brands preferential
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • A passion for photography.
