JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES:

  • To assist the senior pastor in impacting the Elderly, Youth and the Children in the Parish positively.
  • To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, particularly by developing preaching and teaching methods that inspire and promote spiritual growth.
  • To teach and lead congregants in the way that will help them to clearly understand the tenets of faith of Church of God Mission International Dagenham.
  • To provide pastoral leadership, mentoring and discipleship for all Youth and Children of the church.
  • To maintain a healthy family relationship, strengthen self through personal devotions, prayers, Bible study etc.
  • To assist the Senior Pastor and the other Pastors in the Parish with other ministerial duties.
  • To assist in preparation and submitting weekly and monthly reports to the Zonal Headquarters.

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • The postholder Must be a Born-Again Christian who subscribes to the
    Tenets of faith of
    Church of God Mission International Dagenham.
  • Must be a member of one of the branches of
    Church of God Mission International Dagenham in the United Kingdom.
  • Must have been ordained in
    Church of God Mission International for ministerial duties with ORDINATION CERTIFICATE as proof.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality and trust.
  • Ability to easily use Microsoft office.
