We are a global leader of renewable energy projects, developing utility scale solar and battery projects throughout the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, and Lithuania.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Project Developer to join our team in the Bristol office.

This is a senior role which will involve you working closely with other departments within the company as well as landowners, consultants, and stakeholders.

This will be a hybrid role in out Bristol office, with travels throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing sites from existing multi-GW pipeline of Solar and BESS project from Origination through to RTB.
  • Supporting mid to late stage development of Solar and BESS projects.
  • Communicate with landowners, grid network operators, and planning authorities.
  • Assist the origination team to maintain a steady flow of projects through the development pipeline.
  • Work closely with the UK Head of Development and other team members to stay informed about the latest policy and regulatory changes, advising on their potential impact on project delivery.
  • Support the sales process of projects or their transfer to third-party investors or into the construction phase.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience in the UK Solar and BESS project development process, including risk management, pitfalls, and mitigations.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to engage in a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of thinking creatively to address challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently and communicate progress clearly.
  • Proven experience in speaking and negotiating with key project stakeholders both over the phone and in person.
  • Well-organised, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • UK driving licence.
