Job Title: Condition Monitoring Engineer

Department: Engineering Department

Reporting To: Engineering Co-ordinator

**Salary:** 43,000 - Plus overtime at time & a half

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Bring all site assets to their peak performance by utilizing your expertise in both planned and reactive maintenance.

  • Engage in identifying root causes and enhancement projects to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Utilize the latest methodologies and condition-based monitoring to sustain and enhance assets to their optimum levels.
  • Offer consistent mechanical and electrical assistance for all assets and initiatives within your specialization.
  • Promote a culture of safety and excellence, setting an example and engaging in audits and client visits.
An active Engineer with extensive background in Technical Engineering.

  • Accredited in Mechanical/Electrical disciplines (BTEC or equivalent) with a skill for diagnosing and resolving a variety of equipment problems.
  • A staunch supporter of safety with expertise in risk evaluation and overseeing secure operational procedures, especially with high-risk machinery.
  • Proficient in Lean and Asset Care Excellence, with substantial experience in Root Cause Analysis and condition-based monitoring.
Proficiency in Total Productive Maintenance or Operator-Led Asset Care.

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in high-risk utilities, and skilled in utilizing CMMS and programming PLCs.
  • Exposure to FMCG/Food Industry.
Completion of a Modern Apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent.

  • Certified in 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Basic Food Hygiene.
  • Additional qualifications in Lean Manufacturing, IOSH or NEBOSH, FLT, and MEWP are a plus.
