Location of the Job:

Shropshire - between Shrewsbury and Church Stretton.

Salary & Benefits Package:

  • Paying £10 £13.50 per hour depending on experience.
  • Accommodation available but is not suitable for children.
  • 50 hour working week.
  • This is a permanent fulltime position.
  • Every other weekend off including Friday when possible.

The Job Role Details:


We have a great opportunity for a Herdsperson / Stock Person/ General Farm Worker on a dairy, beef and arable farm in Shropshire.

We are a well invested business with modern farm buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Role duties vary and will include milking, shed cleaning, young stock work, feeding and tractor driving.
  • 250 head Dairy Herd where all calves are reared as replacements.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

  • You must enjoy working with livestock.
  • Have farm work experience.
  • Be local to the site or prepared to relocate for work.
  • Have / be prepared to train for a Telehandler Certificate and other livestock related courses.
