About Us Spektrix is a growing collection of creative problem solvers focused around the arts and technology whose mission is to help arts organisations be more successful.

We're doing this through a combination of cloud-based software and consultative customer support that empowers arts organisations to grow revenue, increase efficiency, and build stronger relationships with audiences.

We are always looking for new ways to approach problems, share knowledge, and better serve our customers.

You'd be joining a team of over 170+, based across our New York, London and Manchester offices and working with over 600 arts organisations in North America and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

You will be part of the Product team reporting to the Director of Product.


As a Senior Product Owner, you will work within the Product Team and a cross-functional delivery team in an agile environment.


The purpose of our Product Team is to make sure the goals of our clients and users are always at the centre of product development.

To do that we put our efforts into ensuring that Product is a central team of the business building strong links with all other teams.


A key purpose of a Product Owner at Spektrix is to question assumptions, find the right problems to solve and focus on the end value to deliver to our clients and Spektrix.


Leading on prioritisation of opportunities within your team and more widely, working with your team, clients, business stakeholders and data to understand the most valuable work for your team and to evaluate the success of our work.

Understanding, recording and communicating Product Debt, aligning others around how to tackle this now and in the future.

Research and frame user needs and problems, in alignment with our business goals and product direction

Clearly and succinctly articulate your research as well as wider context, constraints and challenges to your team; translating complex or unfamiliar problems into understandable concepts and stories


Find the best ways to test assumptions and learn through experimentation; gain insight from users, clients and our teams, to remove unknowns and find the best outcomes before and during development.


Ensure successful roll-out and on-going success of functionality you work on, collaborating with client-facing and communications teams to maximise our uptake and impact.

Work closely with the Delivery Managers to define the best way to deliver priorities in your team


Clearly communicate product goals, priority, decisions and progress within your team and across the business, proactively informing internal stakeholders of changes and improvements.


Working within the Product team to develop and influence best practice and processes in how we work, and communicate, align and influence internally and externally.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Have experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager or similar role in a software development team

Have experience building and maintaining and/or using multi-tenant B2B SaaS Products


Be comfortable working with Agile software delivery practices, including Lean and Kanban, and confident leading others in ways of working and in collaborative processes.

You're receptive to feedback and able to give constructive feedback


You're naturally curious, always wanting to find out more about systems, users and their problems, and learn new technologies and skills.


You take a problem-first approach to everything, always making sure to ask questions and understand the context before starting work on anything.


You're pragmatic, able to use the right approach at the right time in solving problems and designing solutions, balancing trade offs, shifting priorities and guiding others in doing so.

You're able to turn ideas and information into accessible concepts to communicate effectively with different audiences.

You're comfortable talking to and collaborating with different audiences from Software Engineers to non-tech savvy clients, as well as internal and external senior stakeholders, adjusting your style and level of detail appropriately
