The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team at our Torrington Orthopaedics Hospital in Brighouse.
This position will offer a varied workload working alongside our supportive team in practice. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop and progress, use your initiative, and promote new ideas.As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the practice team and will perform a variety of duties, such as:
- Working with our veterinary surgeons, qualified nurses, and student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients. This will include maintaining the kennels, feeding, and walking the patients and of course showing them the love and attention that our very important patients deserve.
- Provide a gold standard service to our clients.
- Following cleaning protocols to maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment.
- Preparing and maintaining medical equipment
Most importantly, you'll share our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive showing your passion and professionalism for working as one team to deliver exceptional care.
40 hours a week
Key accountabilities
The duties of the Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Assistant) include but are not limited to:
- Prompt and efficient telephone answering
- Dealing with routine client queries
- Making appointments
- Taking payments
- Money handling and banking
Skills and experience
This position will best suit a proactive enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exceptional communication skills.
You will be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and priorities your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.
Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.Branch
