Dine is looking for an energetic, bright, customer focused individual who believes they have the potential to support the management of a number of high profile weddings & events at one of our flagship venues, Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool.


You will work & train alongside an experienced Event Manager, learning the fundamentals of our catering, event planning & venue management service.


Background


Dine Group is an established, well respected catering organisation which provides a wide range of hospitality and event management services to its clients.

Our services include venue management, direct hospitality, event catering and corporate hospitality services.

We currently cater for over 60 weddings & events per year at Sefton Park Palm House and are wanting to strengthen our team.


Objectives of the Role


You will be trained to the highest standards by a Senior Event Manager to be able to deliver our full range of services.

Once trained you will be making every event special by:

  • Supporting the delivery of our high profile wedding and events portfolio
  • Management of casual staffing teams including support on rostering and fulfillment of shifts.
  • Control and understanding of fine attention to detail and its effect on the deliverance of a high end event

Key Skills & Experience

Working in a fast-paced, hospitality environment for at least 2 years:


  • Delivering food & drink to guests in a private event location:
-
Time planning & juggling multiple projects/client requests at any one time:


  • Good attention to detail in written communication:
-
Comfortable meeting & speaking to clients in a formal setting where high uniform & personal standards are a must.

This role also requires:

  • An individual who has a natural energy and enjoys speaking directly with clients to arrange meetings and secure bookings
  • Experience of working in a hospitality/conference & banqueting environment and a natural passion for good food.
  • Exceptional commitment & time management in order to achieve personal & company objectives.
