Olmec Advanced Materials is an Engineering Company in Garstang and we are looking for an Administrative Officer.
Hours will be negotiable on a part time basis.
The Garstang site opens 6am-4:30pm - 4 days per week (Monday -Thursday)
Duties
- Ensure customer and supplier details are kept up to date
- Process and confirm orders to customers
- Process internal and external purchase orders
- Produce delivery notes
- Data entry on spreadsheets
- Arrange Courier/Haulage collections
- General adhoc administrative support
- Filing
- Some packing of parts
- To represent the business in a professional manner at all times.
Skills Required:
- Experience with Sage 50
- Team Player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment.
- Strong prioritisation skills.
- Strong Computer skills, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and numeric skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to meet goals in a timely fashion
- Anticipate any problems and proactively solve them effectively
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Competent in Microsoft software packages
- At least 6 months Sage experience
- Must have effective communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
