Olmec Advanced Materials is an Engineering Company in Garstang and we are looking for an Administrative Officer.

Hours will be negotiable on a part time basis.

The Garstang site opens 6am-4:30pm - 4 days per week (Monday -Thursday)

Duties

  • Ensure customer and supplier details are kept up to date
  • Process and confirm orders to customers
  • Process internal and external purchase orders
  • Produce delivery notes
  • Data entry on spreadsheets
  • Arrange Courier/Haulage collections
  • General adhoc administrative support
  • Filing
  • Some packing of parts
  • To represent the business in a professional manner at all times.

Skills Required:

  • Experience with Sage 50
  • Team Player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong prioritisation skills.
  • Strong Computer skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and numeric skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet goals in a timely fashion
  • Anticipate any problems and proactively solve them effectively

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Competent in Microsoft software packages
  • At least 6 months Sage experience
  • Must have effective communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.

Job Types:

£24,000.00 per year
