You will be responsible for helping customers choose the right eyewear, providing expert advice on lens options, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.

The total weekly working hours for this role are 35.75 hours.

During the weekdays, Monday to Friday, the hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

However, one day during the week will be designated as a day off, and this day will vary from week to week.

In addition, this role entails working on most Saturdays, with working hours set from 9:00 am to 3:00 p

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Perform thorough prescreening examinations to accurately assess patients vision and eye health.
  • Conduct comprehensive eyewear consultations with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert advice on lens options, including coatings, tints, and materials.
  • Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their style, face shape, and prescription requirements.
  • Accurately measure customers' pupillary distance and ensure proper frame adjustments for a comfortable fit.
  • Process orders and sales transactions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the optical industry is preferred but not essential; full training will be given.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Detailoriented with the ability to accurately measure and adjust frames.
  • Salesoriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
