Full Time Permanent Position, 40 Hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Shifts), Full Training & PPE Provided. Would suit an anthusiastic mountain biker looking to enter a new industry and progress their career.

Full UK Drivers Licence and Vehicle Required.


We're looking for a committed and motivated individual who enjoys working in a group coaching environment, collaborating with peers, and helping our clients improve their performance.

The coach will work directly with the management team to develop a flexible and realistic training schedule, and will be responsible for helping our clients reach their goals.

All of which to be periodically shared with our 50k followers

You will be placed onto the MTBSI coaching course within 12 weeks. A training agreement will be put in place and last for 12 months.

Other Role Duties Will Include.


The diverse role combines front of house, operational & administrative duties with physical tasks required to insure the smooth running of the parks.


These include but are not limited to:
Checking in visitors, ensuring membership has been completed and checking correct/valid tickets have been purchased.

Ensure riders meet age restrictions and requirements for parent/guardian on site/trail.

Ensure all riders are aware of terms and conditions of use and have noted the information on signage boards.

Checking facilities are well maintained and stocked (toilets are cleaned and have toilet paper, car parks are opened/closed at correct times and kept litter free etc.)

Providing riders with relevant information regarding terms of use & ensuring visitors understand trail grading.

Performing trail inspections (training given)
- weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, high use, adverse weather; identify trail maintenance requirements and prioritise trail works to be completed; complete inspection forms and submit electronically or to Site Manager.


Carrying out maintenance and repairs of all items identified through trail reports, either under own initiative or as directed by the park manager; updating trail reports on completion.

Alerting line managers to any issue of concern regarding trails and their condition.

Overseeing the parks' use and monitoring visitor behaviour, ensuring it is in accordance with terms of use.


Advising clients of their obligations regarding behaviour and use of park; requesting those that fail to comply to terms of use to modify behaviour or leave the park.

Escalating any behaviour issues as appropriate to senior staff members on site or by phone.


Providing first response medical attention where trained or alerting either emergency services and/or senior staff member on site where required.

Completing accident reports as required.

Alerting management to breaks in service from suppliers (bins, toilets etc.)

Alerting management to low stock levels of medical supplies, food, drink etc.

Monitor and maintain all on site infrastructure, fencing, signage, trail corridors. Carry out required remedial works to ensure signage is visible and applicable, fences are in place etc.


Ensure the parks and surrounding areas are kept presentable, in good order and reflect the values of B1KE more generally.

Promoting services such as skills training.

Promoting merchandise.

Promoting the benefits of membership.

Assisting with membership issues and escalating where appropriate.


Periodically Park Operatives will be required to support other sites, event/race preparations & running, trail development, sickness and holiday cover.

Be seconded to other builds & projects as required.

Any other duties required in achieving the successful ongoing operation of the site.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
18 years +

Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills. Great customer service skills. Be able to perform physical duties for a prolonged period of time. Ideally have a basic understanding of mtb trail needs. (Training provided) Be able to overcome challenges and think on your feet. Be well presented at all times.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE
Good understanding of the MTB community or other outdoor activities. Good understanding of social media.

Be fun and friendly to be around as well as approachable and respectful to guests, staff, clients and colleagues at all times.
