An exciting opportunity is available in our Information Technology department for an IT Solutions Architect. This position allows you to work closely with the Technology Senior leadership team and wider business management teams to conceptualise, design, and implement IT services and infrastructure to meet the organization's current and future technology needs.
The Role
The IT Solutions Architect will collaborate with business leaders to align technological strategy and capabilities with business visions and objectives. They will also offer architectural oversight and governance for the design, construction, and ongoing enhancement of reusable and scalable IT services and capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Define and communicate IT strategy in partnership with the Technology Senior leadership team.
- Create and maintain IT principles and standards to support the delivery of new technology services.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and Business Analysts to define and review Functional and Nonfunctional requirements to ensure IT services meet the necessary standards.
- Ensure compliance with FCA, PRA, TCF, and Data Protection/GDPR regulations in relation to any proposed system, service, environment, or solution, and follow the relevant Best Practice recommendations.
- Establish a governance framework to maintain alignment between technology and business objectives.
Person Specification
This role involves interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; therefore, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential. The ideal candidate will possess the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert qualification. Experience in rearchitecting IT solutions for cloud native platforms, interpreting user requirements, and producing and maintaining IT Solution artefacts is required. Any previous experience in designing on-premises PBX call center migration or CRM systems would be beneficial. We seek an individual who can bridge conceptual design with practical delivery and scenarios, demonstrating strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
