We are looking for a confident expeditor to facilitate the flow of materials into our business.

The expeditor will be involved in activities related to receiving deliveries, confirming accuracy of orders and dealing with production challenges and stock levels.

You will be involved in aspects such as purchasing, admin, stock accuracy, database accuracy and building relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure a smooth material-to-production process.


Expeditor Responsibilities:

  • Creating & sending purchase orders
  • Receiving order acknowledgments Expediting deliveries for accurate delivery dates
  • Creating delivery schedules for stores personnel and production team
  • Performing clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and files of activities
  • Being in communication with production to foresee materials shortages/overstocking of materials
  • Handling invoice queries from accounts department
  • Processing internal purchase requisitions
  • Database management
  • Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

Expeditor Requirements:

  • Experience with MRP/ERP software or similar.
  • An general understanding of materials and services procurement.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient people skills.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving, organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.

£25,000.00 per year
