As a SharePoint Specialist, you will be required to work on the complete delivery of SharePoint Online projects and play a pivotal role in enabling collaboration and knowledge sharing within an organization.

Your responsibilities encompass designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint sites that serve as intranet portals.

What the role involves:

  • Analysing business needs, gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft SharePoint solutions and Power Platform applications to enhance team collaboration, meet business needs and streamline business processes.
  • Providing advice on business process improvements using SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Promote, establish, and enforce SharePoint governance policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of SharePoint.
  • Integration with other systems.
  • Administer and support SharePoint environments, including installing patches and upgrades.
  • Monitor sites and solutions to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Providing technical support, training, and documentation for SharePoint and Power Platform users.
  • Staying up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies and recommending improvements to existing systems.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or an equivalent experience
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a similar position as a Microsoft SharePoint or Power Platform Specialist.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of Power BI is beneficial).
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Frameworks and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery and Web Services.
  • Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective project management and ability to work with deadlines, proactive and ambitious.
  • A creative mindset with good analytical and troubleshooting skills and attention to verbal or written detail.
  • Good organizational skills, decisive priority management, strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • A critical thinker, with ability to think both detail- and a big picture-oriented, with good problem-solving skills and "can do" attitude.
  • Willingness for occasional travel to company sites to work closely with project teams.
