The Manufacturing Team
We have redefined the eBike kit product category with excellent design and innovative technology, with our Manufacturing Team being key to producing our kits and delivering products to our customers.
To achieve the best possible manufacturing process, we are assembling a world-class manufacturing team consisting of Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operations experts.
The Role
This opportunity is for a Supply Chain Specialist to support our supply chain with a focus on maximising supply chain efficiency, reducing supplier costs and building excellent supplier relationships (our core suppliers are based in China), enabling Swytch to consistently deliver our kits to our customers.
- Daily communication with suppliers and order management
- Resolving Supply Chain issues
- Collaborative working with teams from across the business to drive availability of goods and development of joined R&D
- Manufacturing projects
- Forecasting and planning
- Monitoring and managing supplier KPIs
- Sourcing new suppliers
- Price Queries
- KPI & Data Reporting
- Cost reduction (identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities)
- 23 years of Supply Chain experience
- Experience with Chinese suppliers
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good understanding of international logistics
- Very strong with Excel / Google sheets (pivot tables, charts) and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to exercise autonomy and challenge the status quo
Nice to haves:
- Chinese language ability (HSK4 Or higher)
- Experience with components sourcing and supporting R&D projects
- Electronics sourcing experience
- Knowledge of SQL
