Torcare is an established care provider of three care homes and we pride ourselves on providing exemplary levels of care and support for all our residents.


We are looking for an administration assistant who will support the registered manager to help with the day to day running of Porte Rouge.

You will have a wide range of duties to complete and must be willing to take on extra administrative tasks when required.


Principle Duties:

  • Support the registered manager in staff meetings and return to work meetings
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Manage rotas
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries
  • Be friendly and welcoming to visitors in the home
  • Organise appointments for the residents
  • Assist with payroll/timesheets
  • Monitor staff sickness
  • Filing and scanning
  • General office administration
  • Complying with CQC standards and Torcare procedures

Experience and Requirements

  • It would be desirable if you have a knowledge of care
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Computer literate with experience of word, excel and outlook as a minimum
  • Excellent organisation skills and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to manage your time effectively
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • To support the smooth running of the home through a flexible approach to the rota
Salary and shift pattern to be discussed at interview
