The successful Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will manage designated categories focused on fixtures, fittings, equipment and services.
As Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance you will source and benchmark suppliers, products and pricing and implement service-level agreements and contractual agreements with all suppliers.
The Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will work cross functionally with architects, quantity surveyors etc. to develop long term procurement plans for refurbishments, new builds and extensionsBeing a key member of the purchasing team, the Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will be responsible for identifying improved purchasing opportunities across a range of products and suppliers
The Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will be accountable for monitoring and managing supply-chain risk, price volatility and suppliers' performance, in accordance with agreed contracts, service-level agreements and KPIs
You will currently be working as a Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance within hospitality or retail within the UK and will have experience of buying fixtures, fittings, equipment etc
It is essential that you can demonstrate a passion for buying and a flair for commerciality along with fantastic negotiation skills across complex negotiations
Working as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.
As Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance you must have good insight and data analysis skills and be able to action opportunities to drive improvement.
You will have excellent project management, planning and organization skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self-starter with can-do attitudeSalary up to £70k plus, bonus benefits
Role is split between the office in Watford (3 days) and home (2 days)
