Applications are invited for the above position of Ambulance Hygiene Assistant, based at Pallion, Sunderland. You will be responsible to provide the direct provision of ambulance vehicle cleaning and equipment hygiene services. The role will be covering absents and annual leave (predominately weekends )working alongside the existing hygiene team.

Core Responsibilities

To work within the Hygiene Department.


The post holder will be responsible for providing vehicle cleaning and equipment hygiene services to all the operational support services.

Responsible for the maintaining the cleaning equipment.

Check stock supplies - any stock required to be raised with Hygiene Manager

Fleet Management - Continuous and consistent awareness of the status of all operational vehicles across your fleet to make informed management and operational decisions.

Vehicle Servicing & Repairs - Commercial vehicle and van servicing and repairs, carried out by our highly trained technicians.


Fleet Fitting & Equipment - Vehicles equipped according to regulatory and clinical best practice to perform a specific care response.
