Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time
The role of Associate Director of Performance is a pivotal member of the Chief Operating Officer's leadership team.

The post holder is responsible for supporting the Director of Performance and Operational Improvement and site-based Leadership Teams in ensuring systems and processes are in place for the effective monitoring and delivery of the Trust wide performance management framework and, therefore, enabling operational and strategic objectives to be met.

This is a newly created role that reflects the needs of a complex acute Trust delivering services across three main acute hospital sites.

It provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced performance manager to use their skills to strengthen and align performance and improvement measurement.

This role will work across the disciplines of performance monitoring, performance management and performance improvement to support the delivery of the Trust's strategic ambitions.

The newly created role of Associate Director of Performance will oversee the development and delivery of an operational performance framework for LUHFT.

This will include the refinement of Board to Point of Care reporting in line with Trust priorities, national requirements and improvement plans, working with operational and clinical teams to ensure full understanding current levels of performance and variation and to identify opportunities for improvement.

As a team leader, you will also provide direction, oversight and guidance to the Trust Performance Team and will be instrumental in strengthening relationships between corporate functions, operational teams and business intelligence to continue to enhance understanding and effectiveness of operational performance.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
