Summer School Activity & Welfare Team Leader 2024

MAIN TASKS
The Team Leader supports new Activity & Welfare Leaders with their training and development. You will lead through example, showing the Ardmore way of delivering activities, evening entertainment & excursions. To support the development of the AWL's, you will conduct thorough and constructive observations and appraisals.

Team Leaders plan, organize and set up activities during morning, afternoon, and evening activities.

They will conduct pre-excursion briefs with their team the night before excursions and ensure the AWL's have all the information and training needed to deliver successful excursions and activities.

TL's will ensure the team are engaging students during free time and actively supporting the host centre during mealtimes.

You will also take responsibility for ensuring that stock is used and stored correctly, and the stocklist is kept up to date.

You will play and active, key role during arrivals and departures, ensuring AWLs are well prepared and room checks are completed correctly.

You will lead on Night Duties, to ensure all students are accounted for in their rooms and that fire lists are up to date.

You will lead by example during fire drills to ensure all staff and guests understand what to do. Assist with the opening and closing of the centre, as directed by the Centre Director.

Eligible to work in the UK and 18 years old or over

Adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Hold a valid First Aid Certificate, Lifeguard or sports coaching qualification

Valid DBS and/or Overseas Police Checks (Ardmore can assist with this).
