Our Medical Directorate based at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich is seeking an administrator to support their Business Support Manager on a part time basis for 12 months.

This is a part time post for up to 30 hours per week and you'll ideally work across 4 days but we can be flexible.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic administrator to support our Business Support Manager in the newly formed Medical Directorate.

Working within the Trust Secretariat team, the post holder will take responsibility for the administration and efficient running of the Chief Medical Officers office and the management of discrete projects.

The post holder will possess excellent administration, communication and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. If you have the relevant qualifications, experience, and skills we encourage you to apply.

Main duties of the job:

As Senior Management Support Administrator you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Business Support Manager and wider directorate Senior Leadership team including:

  • Meeting support
  • Analysing information
  • Report writing
  • Diary management


You will act as a point of contact for the office and will need to prioritise requests and deal with routine and specialist enquiries in a professional and helpful manner.


We will need you to communicate relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate, maintaining an efficient message system.

You will be working with a broad range of different stakeholders and will be required to maintain constructive relationships them on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer and Directorate Leadership team, including service users and carers, Governors, clinicians, senior leaders across the Integrated Care Systems, regional and national health and care leaders, MPs etc.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of IT systems and data management including MS Office.

The post holder will have experience of administrative support, reports and presentations, problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload.
