Storeman Supervisor

Yard Supervisor The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing a warehouse/yard in a fast-paced environment and experience of effectively running a successful function.

The individual will be responsible for the yard/warehouse operation and for providing excellent standards of service, efficiency and performance.

Responsibility for the day to day operations of the yard/warehouse departmentEfficiently managing a team of yard/warehouse staff, ensuring orders are correct and on time, providing top quality customer serviceResponsibility for all goods in/outEnsuring company compliance of all warehouse/yard policies, legislations and procedures as well as taking responsibility for health and safety issues of the warehouse/yard Managing, monitoring and developing a team of warehouse/yard staffInvolvement in strategic development and improvementsEnsuring housekeeping is well maintained including excellent external presentation of our branch Maintain accurate administrative recordsProviding excellent standards of service, efficiency and performance.

Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Strong people management skills Experience within the merchant industry would be essentialKnowledge of the products/industry would be an advantageFull driving licenceFork lift truck licence.
