The ideal candidate will be an experienced Technical Engineer with at least 10 to 15 years' experience designing components and experience in mentoring/ leading a team.
Job Description:
As Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our key product line.
With a focus on Designing components, your responsibilities will include:Ownership:
Lead the design process for a crucial product line, ensuring excellence at every stage in a hands on role
Customer Interaction:
Act as the primary interface for customers, providing in-depth product knowledge and supporting the Production department.
Engineering Excellence:
Undertake Engineering Change requests and meticulously manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
Collaboration:
Liaise with various departments, including purchasing and production, to deliver designs from concept to completion.
Manufacturing
Expertise:
Apply your proficiency in manufacturing methods, encompassing injection moulded plastic, casting, and precision-machined components.
Key Attributes:
Expertise:
Demonstrate 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, holding positions such as Design Manager, Senior/ Principal/ Lead/ Chief Engineer.
CAD Proficiency:
Display proficiency in Solidworks, though consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in alternative CAD packages like Inventor or Creo.
Electro-Mechanical Acumen:
Possess essential knowledge and experience with Electro-Mechanical components.
