Our client is a large management consultancy looking for Delivery Managers with strong application/digital tool experience to lead the delivery of digital transformation for Government clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on digital projects with cross functional teams in an agile delivery environment.

This is a hybrid role with an average of 2-3 days per week onsite as per the client needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of products and services or functional components using agile methodologies.
  • Manage and facilitate a cross functional agile delivery team.
  • Organise agile methodology events such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to create product roadmaps.
  • Oversee the creation of a backlog of prioritised and refined user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure exceptional quality, comprehensive testing, and timely deployment of final products.
  • Coordinate activities across teams and the delivery lifecycle including Business & Systems Analysis, Creative, Content, Architecture, Development, Test, Business Change, and Project Management.
  • Work closely with programme leadership to monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies.
  • Utilise data insights to enhance team performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills & experience
  • Ability to drive and motivate the delivery of digital/technology projects.
  • Hands on Agile delivery experience ideally as an Agile Delivery Manager or Scrum Master.
  • Experience working on digital/technology projects either at a leading consultancy or Government organisation.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams such as Designers, Researchers, UX, Product Owners & Developers.
  • Experience coordinating Agile delivery ceremonies including planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Experience running workshops, with an emphasis on problem solving.
  • Mentorship skills, including coaching and motivating team members.
  • A self-starter, comfortable working in both process driven and ambiguous environments.
  • A passion for digital and technology, with the drive to progress and develop your skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
