We are looking for an inclusive and engaging leader with drive and vision to join the Clinical Leadership Team within the Trust. You will provide leadership to your specialty / specialties. The post holder will work with their teams to deliver patient focused, high quality and efficient services for our service users. You will be a role model to staff at all levels within Trust by displaying the highest standard of our values on a day to day basis.

Within this role, you will make a major contribution to creating a compelling vision for your speciality which will include the development of challenging service development strategies, anticipating future needs, challenging existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions which take into account models of best practice. Main duties of the job You will ideally have experience of working at a management level within a service and be able to demonstrate a range of skills that could include experience of budget management, staff management, managing competing workloads and experience of advising others. Qualifications
Essential
  • Medical Clinical Leader with extensive experience
  • Additional Postgraduate Management or Service qualification or equivalent experience

Previous Experience

  • A track record of achievement as a clinical leader in an acute setting
  • A track record of applying a collaborative approach to implementing changes
  • Strong understanding of the challenges facing the NHS and the Trust over the next 10 years

Desirable

  • Evidence of having led a major service improvement
