Patient Advisor

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Advisor.

As a Patient Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within our surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and checkin patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system efficiently
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
• Maintain organisation of the reception area and waiting room
• Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an administrative or office role is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Proficient in using computer systems, including electronic medical records software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Friendly and professional demeanor, with exceptional customer service skills
