Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Advisor.
As a Patient Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within our surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and checkin patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system efficiently
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Maintain organisation of the reception area and waiting room
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office role is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems, including electronic medical records software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Friendly and professional demeanor, with exceptional customer service skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay:
From £11.50 per hour
