Position 2:
Accounts Assistant
Ideally, someone who has accounts department experience, we don't need a qualified accountant, someone who has handled payables and or receivables, one or the other or both.
- Will be involved in looking after all supplier and overhead payments, payables
- Will also be involved with credit control
- Sage 50 experience would be very advantageous
- Lots of involvement with all other departments and operational and sales staff
- Involvement with Directors & Owners
- Looking after "some" aspects of our other Westbound offices
- Some involvement with our offsite accountants
- Bank reconciliations
- Some involvement with our invoice factoring/discounting company Bibby Finance
- Plus adhoc duties that are encompassed within the accounts department
- Logistics experience no essential but would be advantageous

Monday to Friday to Hour for lunch
Salary:
Experience related. The position we feel warrants a salary of around £25-28k +/- for a semi-experienced person.
Benefits received concerning the position:
Holiday Allowance 20 days per annum excluding bank holidays.
These holidays run from January to December and after the first full year of full-time employment, the following January you would receive an extra day per year every January for a further 5 years, for a maximum of 25 days per annum, excluding bank holidays.
Position after 3 months' probation also has a contributory pension, NHS Top up health scheme and after the first full year of employment, an extra day per year capped at 25 days excluding bank holidays.
