We are seeking a Sciences Sessional Tutor to become a part of our team. As a Sessional Tutor with expertise in Chemistry at the University of Brighton International College (UBIC), you will join our successful team, delivering modules in Chemistry to international students preparing for undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs offered by the college.

This presents an exciting opportunity for a Chemistry or Science Tutor/Teacher aiming to enhance their skills and advance their career with a leading organization.

What you'll bring to the role

Having a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area is advantageous, although candidates will be evaluated based on their individual strengths.

Possessing a Master's degree or higher in a related subject is favorable. Previous teaching experience in a relevant area of expertise within a UK higher education context is required, along with the ability to create and update teaching materials and preferably, experience in a Virtual Learning Environment. Additionally, strong IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email are essential, as well as proficient record-keeping abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability to work under tight deadlines, and a proactive approach as a team player.

Additionally, possessing a Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education, or currently pursuing a relevant course to obtain such a certificate, would be beneficial.
