The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing current processes ("as is") and designing improved processes ("to be") to enhance service delivery within the NHS.

This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project within the healthcare sector.

Business Analyst Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis:

nConduct a thorough analysis of existing business processes ("as is") within the NHS framework.nIdentify areas for improvement and document current workflows and procedures.


nProcess Design:


nDevelop and design future state processes ("to be") that align with project goals and NHS standards.nCreate detailed process maps and workflow diagrams to support the envisioned changes.nStakeholder EngagementnCollaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their needs and constraints.nFacilitate workshops and meetings to ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in.


nDocumentation:


nProduce comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.nEnsure all documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders.nGap AnalysisnPerform gap analysis to identify the differences between current state and future state processes.nProvide recommendations and strategies to bridge the identified gaps.


nChange Management:


nSupport the implementation of new processes and ensure a smooth transition from "as is" to "to be" states.nAssist in training and supporting end-users during the changeover period.


Business Analyst key skills;nProven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the healthcare or public sector.nStrong understanding of NHS systems and processes.nDemonstrable experience with "as is" and "to be" process mapping and documentation.nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.nAbility to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.nProficiency in using business analysis tools and software.nRelevant qualifications in business analysis or related field.
