Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handy Man/woman to join our team.

As a Handy person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

You will be working in a vulnerable adult environment and will be required to have a clean DBS check. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
  • Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service to address any maintenance concerns or requests

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Handy Man or Maintenance Technician
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform various repair tasks
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Leadership skills to supervise contractors and coordinate repairs
