Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a construction contractor based in Bridgwater, Somerset who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor.

Working in a tight knit team and covering the Southwest, this will be a role working on new build, refurb and maintenance projects.

Oversee financial and contractual management of projects.
Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time.
Negotiate contracts and work schedules with contractors and suppliers.
Manage payments for contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed to standard and on time.
Monitor project progress, budget, and quality, and report any variances.
Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Provide advice on legal and contractual issues.
Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
Read & Interpret 2D/3D drawings accurately
