We are now recruiting for a Head of Account Management to join our team.

About the Role


The Head of Account Management will lead the Account Management Team and will drive and develop account growth strategies and approaches.

In this role, you will establish industry-leading initiatives that influence the position of the business in the industry.

You will establish revenue goals and strategies that advance the accounts' performance and enables the achievement of the department's as well as the business's financial goals.


Your main duties will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, ensuring they are motivated, engaged and performing against objectives and KPIs.
  • Proactively lead the business's strategic account planning processes and develop performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/annual periods.
  • Manage the pipeline, forecasting, and renewals process to ensure accurate revenue projections and achievement of targets.
  • Develop and manage trusted relationships with a portfolio of major clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key client needs and requirements and expand the relationship by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to clients promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing clients to meet revenue targets.
  • Ensure the Account Management team serves as the link of communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Engage in key account events, seminars, and play an active role in industry movements where you gather information that keeps the business at par or even ahead of the competition and up to date with the latest best practices in account management.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a Head of Account Management role within the legal sector, ideally in a Managed Services Provider business.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating an Account Management Team.
  • Able to evidence commercial success in current and previous roles.

Leadership/Supervisory Role: The role will provide leadership and management to the accounts team. You will lead the team through the implementation of a client focussed operation with an emphasis on achievement of excellence and insight to surpass consumer expectations.

Relationship Management: Build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients through the creation of long-term planning and understanding. This is also done through the establishment of a solid understanding of the competitive market to realise how best to acquire and retain high-value clients. Also develops industry-leading relationships with external key account contacts to ensure that the business receives constant leads on potential key clients.

Collaboration: The successful job holder will be highly collaborative, working to create cross-functional engagements and understandings with necessary departments and externally with the relevant authorities for Information Security and ISO2700-
Analytics:Plays an analytical role, conducting research and gathering data on the clients, the market, and the competitive environment to identify key improvement areas in account maintenance and management. Also tasked with developing and implementing consumer growth plans, measurement, performance benchmarking, troubleshooting performance gaps, formulating and nurturing outstanding initiatives.
