This prestigious charity body is looking to recruit an Indirect Buyer to oversee the responsible and value-driven sourcing and contracting of their goods and services relating to indirect spend.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage endtoend sourcing activity, developing bestpractice sourcing strategies and negotiating contracts.
  • Oversee the development of tactical procurement activity and projects in conjunction with the Indirect Category Manager.
  • Take responsibility for management of supplier relationships.
  • Oversee the effective delivery of the organisation's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on key functional metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • MCIPSqualified to Level 4 or with equivalent professional experience.
  • Indepth experience of being a sourcing expert, with demonstrable success in planning and delivery key projects.
  • Proven ability to deliver against individual savings targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary and Benefits:

- c£43,000 to c£45,500 per annum.
