About the role:

The successful applicant will be joining a supportive, growing team of some 40 staff.

This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills and develop further alongside an ambitious company who are looking for an honest, hardworking individual tojoin them on their journey.

As a Storeperson / Van Driver, you will have several key responsibilities. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You will be predominantly warehouse based - you would be a backup driver to cover sickness and holidays.

Your main duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Receiving and inspecting goods inwards to set requirements, this also includes booking in on our in house computer system, so need to be computer literate.
  • Booking in solid, Free Issue materials and consumables. Ensuring consumable levels are maintained at all times.
  • Attention to detail required as will be raising GRNs (Goods Received Labels) and labelling materials to ensure 100% accurate batch traceability.
  • Making sure that solid material inventory in stores is always up to date and matching our inhouse system. Systematic spot checks and audits to be caried out as and when asked.
  • Ensure that fixture stores are in order and all fixtures are identified logged and in the correct locations.
  • Tooling receipt and distribution.
  • Ensuring that all material is distributed to the right locations in timely manner (this includes cutting of the material beforehand if applicable)
  • Allocating and issuing solid material and assembly parts to the relevant locations/employees.
  • Forklift driving license required as you will need to load and unload / move materials and goods of the delivery lorries and around warehouse. We can arrange you obtaining a forklift licence if necessary.
  • Packing and cleaning goods ready for delivery when required.
  • Driving van to make deliveries, when required.
  • Ability to prioritize in line with requirements from other colleagues and superiors.
  • Making sure stores are always tidy and free from tripping hazards, other general warehouse duties etc.
