Main Duties of the Job:
  • Emergency Physician in Charge (EPIC)
  • Weekday, weekend, and on-call cover
  • Consultant ward round in Adult Assessment Unit
  • Overseeing the Same Day Emergency Care unit
  • Providing clinical advice to community providers
  • Participation in Multidisciplinary Meetings
  • Governance, complaints, and incident management
  • Delivering teaching to doctors
  • Supervision of junior doctors

Person Specification and Requirements:
  • Demonstrable ability to align with Trust Values
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • On the specialist register of the General Medical Council
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine and teaching roles
  • ATLS, APLS, or ALS certification
  • Strong clinical and teaching skills
