Tanker Manufacturing

Sayers Road Tankers operates from three dedicated sites on the Leeming Bar Industrial Estate, to the west of Northallerton in North Yorkshire, and ideally situated adjacent to the A1 Motorway.

As well as offering or sourcing from a full range of used road tankers we also manufacture the majority of tanker types for commercial requirements such as general-purpose chemical tankers, rubber lined tankers, vacuum waste vehicles, milk articulated and farm collection vehicles.

We also manufacture and supply cleaning in place Cleaning In Progress (CIP) wash plants.

Our wide range of road tanker availability allows us to service the transport industry and also operate a substantial tanker hire fleet, servicing many industries including food, milk and general chemical waste.

We are interested to hear from people with a variety of skill sets in order to accomodate continued growth of the manufacturing sector of the company.

Some of the skill sets we are interested in are:

Welder/Fabricators:

working with Stainless Steel using TIG/MIG processes on material ranfing from 1mm to 10mm manufacturing road tankers and associated assemblies, including all stages of assembling, tacking up, welding and grinding.

Fitters:

including a wide range of tasks including fitting of body components, wings, siderail assemblies, pipework, various bracketry and smaller components.

Experienced engineers:
with history of installation of hydraulic systems, automotive electrical systems, pneumatics including braking systems.

Additional information:
Experience of working with cranes, confined spaces, at height, manual handling, abrasives, all advantageous.
