Emerging Futures (EF) works across the country to support people affected by homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.

About the role


As a Housing Project Worker, you will provide housing and recovery support to people who have a history of substance and/or alcohol issues.

You will provide a range of interventions to support people on their journey to independent living including settings goals and creating move on plans.


All Support Workers receive an in-depth training package to provide you with the skills you need to support people in our houses.

About you

  • You will have some experience working in a support role, but we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and personcentred way.
  • You are compassionate, energetic, reliable, and committed to improving the health and wellbeing of those experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping.
  • Patience and resilience will come naturally to you. You should have good interpersonal and listening skills as you will be supporting people with challenging mental health problems.
  • Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives
