What you'll be doing:

  • Working safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Following the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications
  • Using the appropriate methods and techniques to complete operations
  • Checking the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification
  • Using associated tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Installing and replacing the locks of fire doors

Your skills and experiences:

  • Good knowledge of joinery and repair
  • Basic understanding of locksmith duties
  • Time Served Apprentice in joinery / NVQ qualification in joinery
  • Fire door inspection qualifications are desirable
