Work Placement Manager

Carshalton College are now seeking a Work Placement Manager - someone to work as part of the Construction department and take responsibility for all aspects of delivery and quality assurance of apprenticeship programmes in the areas of Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry.
Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, you will support and collaborate with the Apprenticeship Administrator who will coordinate the sign-up process to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the paperwork.
You will gather information about the Apprentice and the Employer, ensuring they have created their DAS account, and induct Apprentices at the start of their programme.
You will visit the Apprentices in the workplace and during their College based training programmes to conduct reviews, guiding and supporting them throughout their training.
You will help maintain the number of Apprentices on the programme and liaise and share information with Tutors over matters of attendance, reporting and trainee progress.
We're looking for someone who has a proven track record of engaging with employers and developing apprenticeships and curriculum.You will have significant experience of successfully tracking and monitoring apprentices throughout their programme and have sector relevant Assessor and Verifier awards.
We'd like you to have knowledge of the construction sector and be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing.
You will need to have a high level of computer literacy and be able to work effectively under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines.
