Maintenance Operative

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and replacements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance efforts.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Ability to perform basic plumbing tasks.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise maintenance projects when necessary.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
