Cloud DevOps Engineer - Equities Tech This is a hands-on developer role and candidates must have experience deploying and supporting their own production ready code in AWS/GCP as well as automating the build and management of a broad range of cloud infrastructure in AWS/GCP.

Candidates should be familiar with developing unit and functional tests, have experience designing and implementing CI/CD tools with infrastructure as code pipelines, have knowledge of Linux systems administration, containerization & orchestration, networking, security, automated configuration and state management, monitoring and alerting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in order to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Furthermore, maintaining a proactive approach, customer-centric mindset, and ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders will be vital to successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and turn them into cloud solutions.
Architect, develop, and maintain internal cloud platform components, frameworks and offerings.
Provide technical guidance and follow best practices to support the business teams.
Implement CI/CD pipelines which include application tests, security tests, and static code analysis.
Implement availability, security, performance monitoring, and alerting of cloud solutions.
Manage multiple environments and promote code between them.
Automate creation of machine images and containers.
Actively monitor and manage cloud costs for clients and implement ways to optimize costs and usage.
Required Qualifications
~3+ years professional experience in Python, ideally in an enterprise level fintech or technology company.
~ Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science or a similar technical field with minimum of 3 YOE.
~ Demonstrate experience designing and supporting production cloud environments on AWS/GCP.
~2+ years experience working with container runtime/orchestration platforms ( Docker/Kubernetes/ECS).
~ Systems engineering knowledge, including understanding of Linux, security, and networking
~2+ Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure provisioning tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform or Pulumi.
~ Experience with monitoring, and alerting tools like Cloudwatch, ElasticSearch or Datadog.
~ Cloud Networking including connectivity, routing, DNS, VPCs, proxies, and load balancers.
~ Experience with least privilege Cloud Security including IAM access management and encryption.
~ Excellent written and verbal communications including creating slide-decks for non-technical audiences.
~ Self-starter able to execute independently, on a deadline, and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to cloud based AI/ML platforms like Sagemaker or Vertex AI.
Experience implementing multi-cloud architectures.
Certifications in cloud specializations.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000 , which is specific to New York and may change in the future.

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
