Due to continued growth and recent contract awards Thorn Baker's exceptional client is currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Project Manager for high-end fit-out projects in Antrim or Glasgow. Delivering prestigious and exciting bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects across a broad range of sectors, you will be part of a progressive, internationally renowned company with over 45 years' experience in providing exceptional quality work.

The Project Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing the necessary resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop a project plan and ensure the necessary resources are organised to meet the plan. Continually monitor progress and take all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met. Develop a project budget and ensure the project is delivered within that budget Ensure that all work is carried out to the client's specifications. Ensure that the project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed. Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required. Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised. Monitor the financial performance of the project and take all necessary steps to minimise costs. Proactively develop relationships with clients. Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution. Ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.

Required Skills:

Extensive joinery management experience on interior fit-out type projects. Relevant qualificationsanda strong joinery background. Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. Sound commercial acumen and the ability to add value and optimise profits. Experience working in a pressurised environment and can keep calm under pressureto go the extra mile and meet deadlines and targets.
