Our behavioral school in Bolton is looking for a committed and empathetic Youth Worker to offer additional assistance to our students.

This position will commence in September 2024.

As a Youth Worker, you will have a crucial role in establishing a caring and inclusive atmosphere where every youth feels valued and supported.


Key Responsibilities:


- Provide one-on-one and group support to students facing behavioral challenges, aiding them in developing positive coping mechanisms and social skills.
- Build positive connections with students, fostering trust and rapport to enhance their emotional well-being and academic progress.
- Work closely with teachers and external organizations to implement tailored behavior management strategies and support plans for each student.
- Organize engaging activities aimed at fostering personal growth, resilience, and self-esteem.
- Serve as a positive role model for students, exhibiting empathy, respect, and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a behavioral school or similar environment working with young people is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with young individuals from various backgrounds.
- Resilience, patience, and a proactive attitude in assisting students during challenging times.
- A genuine love for working with young people and a dedication to their welfare and success.

All salary rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
