They are currently recruiting for a
Field Service Engineer in the Sheffield region, to assist in the maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of a wide range of systems on customer sites.


Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, installing and commissioning of pumping equipment and systems.
  • Alignment and installation of rotating machinery.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and maintenance manuals.
  • Fault finding on electrical control panels.
  • Liaise and supervise tradesman and contractors.
  • Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance and areas for improvement.
  • Train customers on equipment.
  • Apprentice trained ideally within a mechanically engineering discipline.
  • Understands the demands of a service role.
  • Happy to undertake travel to and from sites, with an average of 510 nights away from home per month.

Package:

  • Salary up to £31,000 dependant on experience.
  • Overtime 1.5 over standard 39 hours. Sundays & bank holidays double time.
  • 33 days holidays including 8 bank holidays.
  • Company van.
  • IPad and mobile phone.
  • Paid from leaving home to arriving back home.
  • Potential to earn on average around £4000 in overtime a year.
