Accounts Assistant

A growing and highly respected organisation, our partner is passionate about excellent customer service, being an employer of choice and running as efficiently as possible.

Reporting to the General Manager, your role is to manage all aspects relating to bookkeeping, including invoicing and accounts payable.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and sending invoices a month using Xero
  • Re-invoicing clients for additional products bought through out the month
  • Managing accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time
  • Managing credit control effectively and efficiently.

As the right person, you are an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant and can turn your hand to a variety of tasks as required. You pride yourself on your efficiency and attention to detail and like to work in a process driven environment.

You must be able to prioritise tasks effectively and know when to drop everything to deal with an urgent task, and when to focus on the task at hand.

You are confident using a Xero or similar system, have strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and enjoy working in a collaborative and busy environment

This role will be approximately 60-80hrs per month, with fewer hours at the start of the month and more hours at the end.
