Due to our continued success, the company is now looking to recruit two experienced Batching Plant Operative. One position will be based in Bilston whilst the second position will be based on site.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Operating computer batching systems to produce concrete.
  • Operating and meeting compliance within set tolerances.
  • Identifying and reporting defective concrete and machinery to the Site Manager
  • Carry out daily checks of all safety critical equipment in line with company standards.
  • Daily checks carried out and recorded as required by the environmental permits
  • Coordination of truck mixer / tipper / cement tanker drivers operating within the plant
  • Control Stock of deliveries.
  • Day to Day Maintenance of the machinery and all equipment.
  • Responsible for adhering to and ensuring self and others follow health & safety and environmental compliance.
  • Understand and be able to carry out Risk Assessments to compile a Safe System of Work
  • Ensure focused, proactive communication of any potential near miss/hazards within the work area to the Company's Health, Safety Department and Line Management
  • To complete ad hoc duties, tasks and projects as requested by management.
